Ravi Prakash is a Research Associate and Ph.D. fellow at Digital University Kerala (DUK), where he specializes in the Security of Immersive Technologies, with a focus on the socio-industrial metaverse and healthcare digital twins. He is working under mentorship of Dr. Tony Thomas. He holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from IIITM-Kerala and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Delhi. His core research is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that safeguard immersive systems against evolving threats while ensuring identity protection.

Ravi’s academic journey is complemented by professional experience, which includes technical and research work at Siemens Technology and the Kerala Blockchain Academy. This blend of industry and academic exposure informs his research on AI-powered solutions for IoT network security and biometric data analysis. He has presented and published his work in leading academic journals and conferences and has also served as a reviewer for several reputable venues. A strong proponent of knowledge sharing, Ravi advises the mentorship firm Mentorle and co-founded Jijeevisha, an NGO dedicated to mental health and well-being.
