Dr. Sinnu Susan Thomas holds her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and later worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate with Department of Electrical Engineering KU Leuven Belgium in collaboration with FORD Innovation and Research Centre Germany and USA. She is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Digital University Kerala (formerly IIITM-K) and leading Image and Vision Computing Lab along with the Optimization and Machine Learning Lab. Her area of expertise includes Bayesian Optimization for industrial applications, computer vision, and multimedia signal processing.
